What are voice feminization exercises?
When you learn voice feminization exercises, you are learning exercises to feminize your voice. I personally combine speech and singing exercises for voice feminization, because this produces greater results faster in less time with less fatigue. I design these exercises to make it easier to develop the elements of feminine voice.
We won’t cover all possible voice feminization exercises, because there are simply too many for one page. I will instead cover aspects of voice training are all too often underappreciated, or even unnoticed, to the detriment of those looking for help.
Posture for Voice Feminization
If there’s one thing I see holding back voice feminization progress over and over again, it’s improper posture. When you keep the ribs open, the chest up, and the shoulders back and down, it will minimize strain. You will also expand your capabilities greatly by improving posture, and that’s even before you sing a note. You can start working on a better posture with exercises like these:
Learning by Feeling
Learning what feelings are created by a feminine voice is super important, because feelings are often consistent while what you hear is not. Feeling include things like the resonance of the voice in the cheeks, feeling what it’s like to raise the voice box, and feeling a narrow stream of steady air when the throat is narrowed a healthy amount. One element you can feel very noticeably is how smooth your voice is, which I go over in this video:
